Description
A spur gear is a cylindrical gear with straight teeth cut parallel to its axis of rotation. It is the most commonly used gear type for transmitting motion and power between parallel shafts. Known for its simplicity and efficiency, the spur gear is widely used in mechanical systems like gearboxes, clocks, conveyors, and various industrial machinery.
